TUESDAY, SEPTEMBER 4, 2001 The Iroquois Indian Museum in upstate New York held its 20 annual Iroquois Festival over the past weekend. The festival celebrates the contributions of the Iroquois to American and global culture, from foods like strawberries and potatoes to concepts like democracy. Mark Tarbell, Mohawk from Akwesasne, acted as the emcee. Get the Story:
