Beatles' Harrison dead at 58

FRIDAY, NOVEMBER 30, 2001 George Harrison, a founder member of The Beatles, died of cancer at a home in Los Angeles on Thursday afternoon. He was 58. Harrison's death leaves two surviving members of the legendary British rock outfit. He disclosed he had been treated for throat cancer in 1998. Get the Story:
