Obituary: Luana Reyes 68

FRIDAY, NOVEMBER 9, 2001 Luana Reyes, a long time employee of the Indian Health Service, died on Monday of aplastic anemia. She was 68. Reyes was a member of the Colville Confederated Tribes. She received numerous awards for her dedication to Indian health, including the 2001 Presidential Rank Meritorious Award. She had been director of operations at IHS in suburban Washington, D.C., since 1982. Get the Story:
