WEDNESDAY, JANUARY 23, 2002 "I hear the Sioux Nation speaks of disgust and shame concerning the Washington High School mural. I hear the Sioux Nation wants this school and many others to change, in the name of [mascot activist] Betty Ann Gross. I am also part of this great Sioux Nation, as a member of the Rosebud Sioux Tribe. I do not hear Gross' words echoed back home, or here in Sioux Falls. . ." Get the Story:
