Paintball attacks said not racial

WEDNESDAY, MARCH 20, 2002

Law enforcement in Anchorage aren't considering paintball attacks that took place earlier this week as racially motivated because not only Alaska Natives were targeted.

Of the four victims reported to have been attacked early Monday morning, one was a Native man and the other a Native woman. Police have no suspects.

There was national uproar a year ago when Alaska Natives were targeted on the streets by three White youths.
