AUGUST 18, 2000 The Tulalip Tribes of Washington are entering the digital age in hopes of preserving their history and culture. The tribes have struck up a partnership with the University of Washington and Everett Community College to bring computers to every home. With the homes connected, the heritage of the tribes can be more easily disseminated, the partners hope. The tribes are worried, however, that putting their culture online could lead to exploitation of their intellectual property. Get the Story:
