Navajo students going to Big Apple

THURSDAY, MARCH 21, 2002

Five Navajo students from Red Mesa High School in Arizona are on their way to New York City to take in the sights and sounds of the Big Apple.

The students will visit Ground Zero, watch a few Broadway performances, see the Statue of Liberty and eat at the Rainbow Room. The trip is being sponsored by the Navajo Nation's Youth Opportunity Program and the Department of Labor.
