WEDNESDAY, MARCH 13, 2002 The Bureau of Land Management is considering allowing a British company to test for oil deposits in a monument home to ancient Puebloan ruins. Western Geophysical wants to test for oil on 20,000 acres of land in Canyons of the Ancients National Monument in Colorado. The BLM is conducting an environmental analysis on the proposed project.
