Debate over corn continues

American researchers have come under fire for claiming genetically modified corn has been found in Mexico, the birthplace of the species.

The research was blasted by the Mexican government, which has banned bio-corn. Others also questioned the tests used and said they can generate false positives on corn known not to be genetically modified.
