Navajo takeover of IHS tabled

THURSDAY, APRIL 11, 2002

The Navajo Nation Council on Tuesday tabled a proposal to take over health contracting from the Indian Health Service.

The council had previously voted the takeover down but it was revived for this week's special session. Delegates just said doo dah again.
