Ex-IHS nurse pleads guilty in Mont.

THURSDAY, APRIL 18, 2002 A former Indian Health Service nurse has pleaded guilty in federal court to federal conspiracy charges. Denise Willett worked on the Crow Reservation. She was charged for writing fraudulent prescriptions to obtain narcotic painkillers. Pharmaceutical related charges were also brought against Stephanie Redden-Higgins. A federal judge sentenced her to two years probation for fraudulently obtaining painkillers. Get the Story:
