WEDNESDAY, MARCH 13, 2002 Federal charges may be brought against a Navajo man in connection with the beating death of a man on the Navajo Reservation in New Mexico. Nathan Christiansen, 18, has been charged with tribal misdemeanors in the death of Orlando Marshall, 23. The FBI is awaiting results of an autopsy to decide which charges to bring against him. The death occurred in the community of Navajo, where violence has struck often in the past year. Get the Story:
