The Crow Tribe of Montana has kicked four judges off the bench, including one who questioned the recent actions of tribal officials.

Three elected judges were relieved from duty on February 21 by the tribe's executive and judicial branch. An appellate judge who called a hearing to question the bootings was then fired and prohibited from holding his proceeding by tribal and Bureau of Indian Affairs officers yesterday.
