WEDNESDAY, JANUARY 9, 2002

The Seminole Tribe of Florida has filled its administrator position amid a lawsuit against the past holder of the post and ousted chairman Jim Billie.

Ken Fields currently works for the city of Hollywood as an assistant city manager. He is replacing Tim Cox, who was fired in May.

Cox had close ties to Billie and both are being sued for allegedly mismanaging tribal money. Both are reported to be under federal investigation for their business dealings.
