Conn. casinos have good Christmas

WEDNESDAY, JANUARY 16, 2002 Connecticut's two tribal casinos saw an increase in their slot machine revenue last month, with the Mohegan Tribe edging closer to the Mashantucket Pequot Tribal Nation. The Mohegan Tribe has been undergoing a $1.1 billion expansion of the Mohegan Sun casino. With almost as many slot machines as neighbor Foxwoods, the tribe took had a $58.6 million win in December 2001. Foxwoods had a $60 million win. Get the Story:
