Gamblers looking for a place to drop their change have already started finding alternatives to the now-closed casino owned by the Tigua Tribe of Texas.

Although the owners of the Sunland Park Racetrack and Casino aren't necessarily saying so, the New Mexico facility will be picked up more customers. The casino is located in Las Cruces, about 10 minutes away from El Paso, Texas.

The Mescalero Apache Nation doesn't expect to benefit, however. The tribe's casino is about two hours away from El Paso.

With the casino closed, the Tigua Tribe of Texas is starting to sell more than 1,000 slot machines deemed illegal in the state by the federal courts.
