A bill that would lead the way to expanded gaming on reservation in Nebraska moved ahead in the Legislature on Monday.

The expansion is in the form of a constitutional amendment that would go before voters on the November ballot. The bill received the 25 votes to make it to the second round and needs 30 to be placed before voters.
