A bill to allow video gaming machines at non-tribal casinos were killed by a legislative committee in Washington state on Thursday.

Tribes had testified before the Senate panel to oppose the bill. The bill had been proposed by non-tribal casino operators to offset another one that would have taxed their revenues.
