Mohegan Tribe offers money for project

THURSDAY, MARCH 28, 2002 The Mohegan Tribe of Connecticut is offering $7 million to help pay for a regional water project. The project would allow the town of Groton to serve other communities. The town says the tribe's money will speed development of the water system. The proposal will be discussed at a meeting next Monday. Get the Story:
