Pueblo blamed for failed deal

A former New Mexico state lawmaker is being sued by Santa Ana Pueblo for a failed investment in an overseas business deal.

But Kip Nicely, former Republican leader in the House, says the tribe and other investors are to blame for losing their money. The tribe and others say Nicely pushed them to invest $1 million in a Chinese computer school and are suing him for misrepresentation, fraud and breach of fiduciary duty.
