Tribes to hold Indian trust forum

Tribal leaders in Oklahoma are holding a public forum next week to update Indian beneficiaries about the Cobell litigation and efforts to reorganize the Bureau of Indian Affairs.

Tribal leaders from the Southern Plains and Anadarko area are to attend to provide more information about the latest developments. Bureau of Indian Affairs representatives will also be present.

The forum will be held March 5 at the Wichita Tribal Complex in Anadarko. The meeting will start at 1 p.m. and last until 5 p.m.
