"Hooray for state Rep. Jefferson Davis, D-Pomfret. Davis would like to stop wannabe tribes from filing land claims. Finally, a politician trying to stop the blackmail wannabes inflict on people in this state.

But here comes U.S. Senator, and presidential hopeful, Joseph Lieberman who claims Davis' strategy would be unconstitutional.

Lieberman may be right, but he certainly is selective in applying constitutionality to Indian issues. . ."
