In an editorial today, The Sioux Falls Argus Leader says it is looking forward to a study addressing racial inequities in the South Dakota justice system.

The study was commissioned by Gov. Bill Janklow after the U.S. Civil Rights Commission released a report on the treatment American Indians receive. The paper hopes the study will answer whether race plays a factor as many Natives feel it does.
