John Potter: Running into Robert Redford
WEDNESDAY, JANUARY 2, 2002

"Since [Robert] Redford owns Sundance, it’s not that surprising that we saw him there. Nor is it surprising that he totally tried to ignore me when I bid him a hearty “hello” as I picked myself up from the pile of skiers I’d taken down with me at the chairlift.

“Yo! Bob! It’s ME! How’s it hangin’, buddy? Long time no ski! Ha ha! Nice place ya got here!”

“Oh. It’s ... you. Hi. Uh, how’s that ‘whispering-horse’ act coming along?” he asked.

“Oh! Great! I’ll be, like, totally ready for ‘HW2’ man! Just say the word! And hey, can you work in some scenes with a spear for the next one?”

His face reddened as he turned and headed for the slopes. . ."
