North American Indigenous Games lands in Regina in 2014

The North American Indigenous Games will take place in Regina, Saskatchewan, in 2014.

Regina beat out two other communities for the event, which is expected to attract 10,000 to the city. "We put a lot of work into it. It's a great opportunity," Courage Bear, a member of the Ochapowace First Nation, told The Regina Leader-Post.

The 2011 North American Indigenous Games take place this July in Milwaukee, Wisconsin.
