Raw sewage from community being pumped onto reserve land

Raw sewage from a community that's jointly administered by the Tsuu T’ina Nation is being diverted and pumped onto the reserve, CBC News reported.

The sewage from Redwoods Meadows has been pumped untreated for the last three weeks. The same thing happened last year for six weeks, CBC reported.

“It's mind boggling to pump raw sewer onto the land," Scott Mossop, who works for the company hired to take care of the waste, told CBC.

The waste is being dumped near a water source that's used by the city of Calgary.
