Snoqualmie Tribe's casino safe after deal reached

A business dispute that was threatening the Snoqualmie Tribe's casino project in Washington was settled on Wednesday.

Two former business partners agreed on the ownership of companies that have invested $12 million in the casino project. Jerry Moyes, owner of MGU and MGU Development, has loaned the tribe $3.5 million to buy land and more than $8 million for design and environmental reviews.

The tribe is planning a $70 million, 147,000-square-foot casino on 55 acres of an initial reservation.
