Morongo Band closes trendy options at new casino

The Morongo Band of Mission Indians has closed the trendy restaurants, bar and club at its casino only months after opening them to the public.

The tribe partnered with N9NE Group to open an upscale eatery, a steakhouse, a swank club and a high-end bar. But N9NE Group, which operates similar establishments at the trendy Palms casino in Las Vegas, pulled out of the arrangement.

N9NE isn't saying why it is leaving the casino. But the tribe is reopening the eatery and bar under new names and has offered jobs to the more than 300 employees of N9NE.
