The Osage Nation of Oklahoma broke ground on its fifth casino last Thursday.
The $11 million, 35,000-square-foot facility is located in a rural area southwest of Bartlesville. Scheduled to open in the spring of 2006, it will employ 200 people.
Harry Roy Red Eagle, a council member, called the casino an investment. He said the tribe will be improving roads in the rural area and will provide its own police force.
