Soboba Band vows to address casino concerns

The Soboba Band of Luiseńo Indians will address concerns that have arisen over a proposed non-reservation casino, the tribe's vice chairman said.

The tribe is planning a casino resort on 128 acres that are not currently part of the reservation. The land will be returned to the tribe under a water rights settlement. An act of Congress is needed to finalize the settlement.

Soboba Vice Chairman Scott Cozart said the tribe will work with local communities to address road and transportation issues.
