The Fond du Lac Band of Chippewa is making plans to expand the Black Bear Casino and Hotel.
The tribe, based in northwestern Minnesota, is finalizing a package to finance the $100 million project. Plans call for a 12-story, 240-room hotel addition, a four-story parking ramp, a convention center and a new, larger casino, The Duluth News-Tribune reported.
The expansion still needs the approval of the tribal council.
