The Mohegan Tribe of Connecticut is putting the finishing touches on its casino in Pennsylvania.
The tribe bought the Pocono Down racetrack two years ago for $281 million and applied for a slot machine license. The state gaming commission is expected to approve the license today.
The Mohegan Sun at Pocono Downs will offer 2,000 slot machines in addition to horse races. The tribe is investing more than $500 million into the facility.
