The Washington State Liquor Control Board on Thursday denied a temporary liquor license for the Nooksack Tribe's new casino.
The tribe sought a temporary license in time for the opening of the Northwood Crossing Casino on November 14.
But the tribe will have to wait until the board can hold a new hearing for a full license
The casino will open as planned, the tribe's administrator said. It is a Class II facility, The Bellingham Herald reported.
