Nez Perce Tribe signs agreement for lottery

The Nez Perce Tribe and the state of Idaho signed a Class III gaming compact to bring lottery to the reservation.

The tribe hasn't sold state lottery tickets on the reservation for 14 years. A federal judge ruled that a compact was required.

The compact has been submitted to the Bureau of Indian Affairs for review and approval.
