Non-Indian racetrack in Oklahoma may be sold

A non-Indian racetrack in Oklahoma that claims it will be hurt by a proposed off-reservation casino might be sold.

Remington Park is doing well, according to executives, but its parent company isn't. So Magna Entertainment Corp. might sell the track to pay off debt.

But Remington says it could be in trouble if the Shawnee Tribe is allowed to build a casino less than two miles away. State officials are opposing the tribe's land-into-trust bid.

The track operates slot machines that were approved by state voters in 2004.
