The Pokagon Band of Potawatomi Indians of Michigan will share $6.2 million in gaming revenues this year, an increase from last year.

The tribe shares 2 percent of annual net electronic gaming revenues with local communities. The money indicates the tribe made about $311 million at the Four Winds Casino from August 2008 through July 2009, The Southwest Michigan Herald-Palladium reported.

The money will be sent to the Pokagon-New Buffalo Area Local Revenue Sharing Board today.
