Nine indicted for stealing from Forest County Potawatomi casino

Nine people were indicted in federal court for allegedly stealing from the casino owned by the Forest County Potawatomi Community in Wisconsin.

Authorities say Deandre Russell, an employee at Potawatomi Bingo and Casino, and eight friends cheated the tribe out of $168,000. Russell allowed his friends to win jackpots to which they were not entitled, authorities say.

The scheme took place between November 2005 and September 2006.
