The Confederated Tribes of the Warm Springs Reservation in Oregon will open a new casino by the end of January 2012. The Indian Head Casino is located close to a major highway. It replaces the nearby Kah-Nee-Ta Resort & Casino. The tribe amended its Class III gaming compact to cover the new site. The Bureau of Indian Affairs approved the compact last month.
