"Finally, after nine years of trying to build a casino that will bring thousands of jobs to Yuba County, the Maidu Tribe can see some light at the end of the tunnel.
However, certain forces in the county are clamoring to take another look at the desirability of going through with the deal at all. "Taking another look" at the MOU between Yuba County and the tribe is no more than a smokescreen to continue the delays and quash the project once and for all.
Miraculously, those who are morally opposed to an endeavor can find every excuse in the world to fight it, always in the name of some other concern."
