Opponents of Kialegee casino praise agreement with city

Opponents of the Kialegee Tribal Town casino are praising an agreement adopted by the city council in Broken Arrow, Oklahoma.

The city has agreed not to enter into any type of arrangement with the tribe until legal issues have been resolved. Opponents were worried that the city might provide water, fire and other services to the casino site.

The tribe has said it will open a temporary casino on the site this spring.
