The Catawba Nation of South Carolina continues to see opposition to its proposed casino in North Carolina:
Looks like the Catawba Indian Nation isn’t going to get support from N.C. Gov. Pat McCrory for a Kings Mountain casino.

I asked McCrory’s press office how the governor stood on the idea of a $600 million casino that could bring up to 5,000 jobs to Cleveland County.

Ryan Tronovitch, deputy communications director, rolled out a quote from the governor as he left Friday’s meeting of the N.C. Commission of Indian Affairs.

“I’ve seen no argument to justify it whatsoever,” McCrory said.
