Employees at casino owned by Pauma Band want to unionize
Thursday, April 25, 2013
Employees of the casino owned by the Pauma Band of Luiseño Indians in California are trying to unionize.
Union supporters signed up 149 Casino Pauma employees for Unite Here Local 30. That represents more than half of the employees at the facility.
The tribe, however, says a union vote must take place by secret ballot.
The supporters presented a petition instead.
