Two tribes that are opposing the Menominee Nation off-reservation casino donated $193,400 to Republican groups that have helped Gov. Scott Walker (R), who will make a final decision on the proposal. The Forest County Potawatomi Tribe has donated $150,900 to the Republican Governors Association since July 2011, including $50,000 in February, Wisconsin Democracy reported. The Potawatomis, along with the Ho-Chunk Nation, also contributed a total of $42,500 to the Republican State Leadership Committee.
