The Pala Band of Mission Indians welcomed visitors to a $6.1 million recreational vehicle resort near its casino in southern California.

The Pala RV Resort at the Pala Casino Resort and Spa features 100 full-service sites. Each offers a grassy area with a picnic table, electrical, water and sewer hookups and wi-fi and cable television service.

The RV resort also includes a swimming pool, two spas, five barbecue grill areas, a laundromat and a clubhouse.

The facility opened on May 23 and was completely booked for the Memorial Day weekend, The Riverside Press-Enterprise reported.
