Umatilla Tribes seek $85 million loan for expansion project at casino

Leaders of the Confederated Tribes of the Umatilla Indian Reservation are moving forward with a casino expansion project.
The tribe will seek an $85 million loan for the work at the Wildhorse Resort and Casino in Pendleton, Oregon, The Confederated Umatilla Journal reported. Plans call for a new hotel tower, a bowling alley, five new restaurants and more screens at the movie theater, the paper said.
Construction could begin next summer, the paper reported.
