Pechanga Band offers condolences after patron dies at gaming facility

The Pechanga Band of Luiseno Indians said it is working with local authorities after a patron died at the tribe's casino in southern California.

Robert Flores, 27, apparently fell from an escalator at the Pechanga Resort and Casino late Saturday, The Riverside Press-Enterprise reported. Authorities told the paper there is no indication of foul play but an investigation continues.

“We are very saddened to learn of this tragedy and extend our deepest condolences to the family, ” a spokesperson told the paper. “We are working with local law enforcement on this incident.”
