Mashantucket Tribe to open MGM casino on May 17

Mark your calendars: May 17 is the opening day for the MGM Grand at Foxwoods on the Mashantucket Pequot Tribal Nation in Connecticut.

The tribe partnered with Vegas giant MGM Mirage on the $700 million facility. It features a casino, a 26-story hotel, a 4,000-seat theater, restaurants and retail.
