The Quechan Nation appears to have resolved its financial worries and will open a new casino on February 13.
The tribe completed most of the work on the $214 million Quechan Casino Resort last fall but fell short amid national economic woes. But the 297,000 square-foot facility will soon be ready for the public.
The casino near Yuma, Arizona, features a 30,000 square-foot gaming floor, a 166-room hotel, a 20,000 square-foot event center and several restaurant and dining options.
