The Mohegan Tribe of Connecticut is moving closer to a casino in Massachusetts, a top gaming executive said.
The tribe wants to build a casino in Palmer, in the western part of the state. Lawmakers have approved a bill to authorize a casino in that region. “We’re closer than we’ve ever been,” Mohegan Tribal Gaming Authority CEO Mitchell Etess told The Norwich Bulletin.
