Leaders of the Muscogee Nation of Oklahoma could approve a casino deal by the end of the week, The Tulsa World reports.
The tribe is being asked to operate a casino on an Indian allotment near Tulsa. The deal calls for the tribe to receive 70 percent of the revenue -- estimated to be between $15 million and $25 million a year. The Kialegee Tribal Town tried to open a casino on the allotment but a federal judge blocked the plan. The case is before the 10th Circuit Court of Appeals. Get the Story:
